Message It's like saying you can probably run your oil for 10,000 miles nowadays but it's still much safer to change it ever 3-5K. Sure a few people can get away with running 15 psi on 91 (some, as you are evidence of, can run even higher) but others have blown motors with less. And the ONE thing that destroys these cars is detonation. One bad tank of gas, one problem with fuel delivery and your margin for error is zero running that high of boost on lower octane gas.

The guys that tune cars all day and drive around with $2000 wideband O2 units on the street to test real world conditions will all say the same thing. Be it Greg, Kyle or Kuah. But hey, it's your car and your risk to take. That much I know :)
